This experimental print series incorporated laster engraving and hand tool carving to create three unique color reduction images. The title came from a small humorous interaction I walked by on my daily commute to class. Chickens in the front yard of a house were roaming around entirely unaware that there was a tin rooster sculpture standing on the ground among them. The humor of the situation was only visible from my perspective, and it made me wonder if there were situations in my own life in which I was the metaphorical chicken, oblivious to the comedy of my broader cosmic situation.
